Match Your "Indoor Unit" For Maximum
Operating Savings.
Like all central air conditioners, the Stealth Series is part
of a home comfort system. That system includes an "indoor unit"
to deliver conditioned air throughout your home, which helps to
determine the "SEER" rating your system will achieve. The higher
the "Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio" (SEER) rating number, the
more efficient the system. The Stealth Series is engineered for
energy efficiency compatibility with YORK indoor units, including
YORK standard furnaces, variable-speed furnaces, and variable-speed
air handlers. The indoor unit you choose helps determine the operating
cost savings you will enjoy.

Let's Talk Dollars... How Much
Could You Save?
To Use This Chart: Estimate the cooling efficiency of
your current air conditioner. If it's more than 10 years old,
it's likely to be about 6.0 SEER. Then estimate your current annual
cooling costs, based on your total electric bill, eliminating
the cost of other electricity use. Use the chart to estimate how
much you can save with a higher efficiency unit. Example: If your
current air conditioner has a SEER of 6.0 and your annual operating
cost is $600, the cost to operate a new 16.0 SEER system under
the same conditions will be approximately $225, giving you an
annual savings of $375. Taller bars show greater savings.
