YORK also offers a variety of options to make your home even more comfortable. With an optional YORK programmable thermostat, you can automatically adjust the cooling to meet your needs. Like all YORK products, this one is built to last using only quality materials. The coils are constructed from copper tubing and aluminum fins -- the industry standard for reliability and performance. They are coated to retain their attractive appearance and are protected from impact by a tough decorative grille.

*The Federal Government has established SEER (Seasonal Energy Effciency Ratio) standards to allow you to compare energy effciencies of air conditioning equipment. The higher the SEER number, the more energy effcient the product. Many older central air conditioners have SEER levels of 6 or lower.

For longer life, the compressor is internally protected from high operating temperatures and pressures. And the fan motor is permanently lubricated, so it needs no annual servicing. All of these components are protected by a durable, pre-painted steel cabinet that resists fading and corrosion, and by a base pan made of rust-resistant, galvanized steel.

Depending on the plan you select, and the coverage that's available on your new equipment, a YORK Care plan could provide total parts-and-labor coverage for up to ten years.
